PSL Champions v IPL Champions?

In a bid to revive the highly-anticipated cricket rivalry between Pakistan and India, the Cricket Australia is attempting to bring back iconic the Champions League T20 tournament after a decade.
According to Cricket Victoria CEO Nick Cummins, the discussions have already begun with organizers are scouting a possible window for the tournament.
“It’s just trying to find a window as to when you actually play that, because you’ve also got all the ICC tournaments as well. It may be that the first iteration of the Champions League will be of the women… [it may involve cricketers playing in] the WPL, the Hundred and the WBBL,” Cummins said.
Last time CLT20 was held in India in 2014, when Chennai Super Kings emerging as champions.
The tournament featured teams from India, Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, the West Indies, and New Zealand.
He expressed the desire to determine the best league, whether it’s IPL, PSL, or the Big Bash, suggesting matches like Melbourne Stars vs. Karachi Kings or Mumbai Indians could help settle the debate.
“We still haven’t made out which league is the best. IPL, PSL or the Big Bash? The only way we can show that is by having Melbourne Stars play Karachi Kings or Mumbai Indians,” while also adding, “Champions League is well overdue. Look at what Champions League does for football, the World Cup is fantastic and the Champions League is there [too] every time,” Cummins added.
