Shehroze Kashif becomes youngest Pakistani to summit top 14 peaks
Mountaineer Shehroze Kashif has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the youngest Pakistani to climb all 14 peaks above 8,000 metres.
Shehroze achieved this remarkable feat on Wednesday by summiting the 8,027-meter-high Shishapangma.
The 22-year-old mountaineer reached the summit earlier this morning.
He is now the second Pakistani, after Sirbaz Khan, to climb all 14 of the world’s highest peaks.
It is pertinent to mention that Shehroze narrowly missed this milestone last year due to an accident on Shishapangma.
In 2019, Shehroze’s journey to this incredible success took off when, at only 17, he scaled the 8,047-meter Broad Peak, a feat that earned him international acclaim.
Later in 2021, he climbed Mount Everest, Manaslu, and K2. The following year, he summited Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, Nanga Parbat, and Gasherbrum I and II.
