Cricket Australia unveils Ashes series schedule

Cricket Australia has officially unveiled the schedule for the 2025-26 Men’s Ashes series starting in Perth.

The announcement was made on Wednesday at an event held at Scarborough Beach.

The five-match series will start in Perth from November 21-25, followed by a day-night Test at the Gabba in Brisbane (December 4-8) and the traditional Christmas Test at Adelaide Oval (December 17-21).

The famous Boxing Day Test at Melbourne’s MCG (December 26-30) and the New Year’s Test at Sydney’s SCG (January 4-8) will maintain their usual timeslots, providing a classic Ashes summer experience for cricket fans.

“There is already enormous excitement surrounding the 2025-26 NRMA Insurance Ashes series and we are pleased to announce the dates for the five Men’s Tests to enable fans across the world to lock in their travel plans.

“Beginning with the West Test at Perth Stadium, the 2025-26 Ashes dates align with our recently released seven-year international schedule and we are grateful for the support state and territory governments are providing to enhance and grow our major events.”
