PAKvENG: PCB announces free entry at Rawalpindi stadium
Pakistan-England Test series tickets go on sale
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced free entry for fans on the first day of the third Test between Pakistan and England at Rawalpindi.
“FREE entry for fans to Premium Enclosures on the first day of the third #PAKvENG Test in Rawalpindi,” the cricket board said in a statement.
The series is currently levelled 1-1 and the final match will be played from 24 October to 28 October at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Earlier, Pakistan spin duo Sajid Ali and Noman Ali equaled a rare feat during a 153-run victory against England in Multan.
The duo made history by claiming all 20 wickets to level the series at 1-1 and marking Pakistan’s first home victory in three years.
A similar feat was first witnessed in 1902, when Australia’s Hugh Trumble and Monty Noble ripped through England.
George Hirst and Colin Blythe replicated the feat in 1909. South Africa’s Bert Vogler and Aubrey Faulkner then took center stage in 1910, claiming all 20 English wickets.
Noman and Sajid etched their names into the record books as the first bowling pair for Pakistan since 1972 to claim all 20 wickets in a single Test match.
