PCB offers central contracts to these 25 national cricketers

The Pakistan Cricket Bard (PCB) has offered its central contract to 25 national players today.

The development came after the Green Shuirt’s spinners outclassed English batting lineup yesterday, sealing a 2-1 victory in the three-match Test series.

Former Pakistan captain and star batter Babar Azam and wicketkeeper batter Rizwan Ahmed has been offered the A-category while fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah has been included in B-category. Whereas, Shan Masood’s inclusion in the “B” category is subject to captaincy.

According to the PCB, Abdullah Shafiq, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed, Saim Ayub, Sajid Khan, Shadab Khan, Saud Shakeel and Salman Ali Agha are included in the C-Category. Noman Ali’s inclusion in C category is subject to his fitness.

PCB has offered D category to Aamir Jamal, Muhammad Wasim Jr., Muhammad Hurira, Mir Hamza, Khurram Shehzad, Muhammad Ali, Usman Khan, Irfan Khan Niazi, Haseebullah Khan, Abbas Afridi and Kamran Ghulam.

Muhammad Nawaz, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Faheem Ashraf Iftikhar Ahmed and Ehsanullah also failed to get the central contract.

According to PCB, five emerging cricketers have also been given central contracts this time.
