Pakistan likely to include Hasnain in first Australia ODI
In-form pacer Mohammad Hasnain, who is making a long-awaited comeback in the international cricket, is likely to be included in the playing XI for first ODI of the series against Australia.
The three-match ODI series is set to commence from November 04.
Hasnian hasn’t played a one-day international for Pakistan since January 2023.
Pakistan team had a training session in Melbourne for the series, where players practiced extensively in the nets after physical and fielding drills.
Pacers, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Hasnain, Naeem Shah, Haris Rauf and Amir Jamal also bowled lengthy spells in the nets ahead of first ODI.
Moreover, selection committee member Asad Shafiq was also present in Melbourne as he foresees the team’s preparations.
He also met Babar Azam and other players.
Selector Asad Shafiq held detailed consultations with coach Jason Gillespie and national team captain Mohammad Rizwan.
