Fakhar, Imam set to epic return for South Africa tour

Left handers Fakhar Zaman and Imam ul Haq are set to make epic comeback in Pakistan squad for the upcoming tour of South Africa.
Apart from that, Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah are also tipped for Test return for the red-ball series against the Proteas.
According to reports, the national selection committee has already finalised the squad for the tour, which will feature a mix of young and experienced players.
Young players will be given opportunities in the T20 series, while experienced campaigners will play 50 overs and Test cricket.
Sources said that senior batters and bowlers may be rested for the T20 series and star players Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, and Shaheen Afridi are expected to feature in the ODI series.
Fakhar Zaman’s return to the white-ball team appears likely while Imam-ul-Haq is under consideration for the Test squad.
Plans are also underway to hold a training camp for the Test squad in South Africa to prepare for the challenging conditions.
The Men in Green will played three ODIs, the same number of T20Is and two Tests during the tour.
