Pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has achieved a unique feat in the first T20I against South Africa in Durban on Wednesday.
The pacer claimed figures of three for 22 from his four over spell as Pakistan restrict South Africa to 183/9.
Doing so, Shaheen also completed 100 wickets in the format. Not only that, he becomes the first Pakistani bowler to take 100 wickets in all formats.
Moreover, Shaheen also became the third Pakistani bowler to reach the 100-wicket mark in men’s T20Is, joining Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan in this elite club.
The left-arm pacer has been a standout performer for Pakistan across all formats. In addition to his 100 wickets in T20Is, Shaheen has taken 112 wickets in ODIs and 116 wickets in Test cricket.
However, despite his valiant effort with the ball, the visitors fell 11 runs short from the target.
