Ex-Pakistan captain appointed as mentor for Afghanistan cricket team

Former Pakistan captain Younis Khan has been appointed as the mentor of the Afghanistan cricket team.
According to a local TV channel, Younis Khan has been appointed as the mentor of the Afghanistan cricket team and he will work as a mentor with the Afghan team in the Champions Trophy.
Spokesperson for Afghan Cricket Board Syed Naseem Sadat said that ACB has given Younis Khan the responsibility of mentor for the Champions Trophy and he will join the Afghanistan team before the start of the mega event.
It should be noted that Younis Khan has previously been the batting coach of the Afghanistan team in 2022.
