Ticket sale for Champions Trophy hits a snag as website goes down

ICC releases new promo of Pakistan team
Cricket fans encountered significant difficulties when attempting to purchase tickets for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 as the official ticketing website crashed due to high traffic.
The sale of tickets for the Pakistan-hosted matches of the tournament began at 2 PM Pakistan Standard Time (PST) on Monday and quickly attracted an overwhelming number of users.
As thousands of fans flocked to the website to secure seats for the much-anticipated event, the surge in traffic caused the site’s servers to fail, hindering users from successfully completing their purchases.
The disruption affected many who were eager to watch the tournament live at Pakistan’s newly-renovated venues.
In response to the overwhelming demand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that the website was in the process of expanding its server capacity to accommodate the increased traffic.
The PCB had earlier shared details of the ticket sales for the eight-team tournament, with prices ranging from PKR 1,000 to 25,000, depending on the venue, seating category, and match.
The tickets are available in various categories, including General Enclosure, First Class, Premium, VIP, VVIP, and Gallery, giving fans a range of options to choose from based on their preferences.
As the ticketing process continues, fans are advised to be patient as the PCB works to resolve the technical issues and ensure smooth access to the website.
