Conor McGregor uses racial slurs to call out Khabib Nurmagomedov
Former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor once again took a jab at retired undefeated Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov using racial slurs on social media.
However, McGregor later deleted the post as he tried to reignite the rivalry with Khabib.
The duo locked horns at UFC 229 in 2018, where Khabib submitted the Irish fighter.
However, last weekend Derry MMA star Paul Hughes clashed with Nurmagomedov’s cousin Usman in Dubai, which reignited Dagestan and Ireland rivalry.
McGregor was left angry that Hughes distanced himself from him after the clash. Following that, he targeted Hughes regarding his Irish identity.
Now, the Notorious fighter now switched his focus once again to Nurmagomedov, and referenced a tweet he posted in 2019 in which he told Khabib: ‘Your wife is a towel mate.’
The 36-year-old also pointed out that the tweet was only up for 15 minutes.
Following that, he then hit out in a rant which included racial slurs and also referenced Nurmagomedov’s father, who passed away in 2020.
McGregor subsequently deleted his post.
McGregor had previously questioned Hughes’ Northern Ireland upbringing and called him a traitor.
