Explosive Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman on Friday suggested change in cricket rules ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy,
The 34-year-old gave the suggestion during the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s podcast, just days before the ICC Champions Trophy.
While appearing in the podcast with former captain Salman Butt, he stressed that if a six crosses 90 meters mark, team should be awarded extra runs.
When asked about his absence from the team and speculation regarding Babar Azam, Fakhar clarified that his exclusion was due to an injury, which took longer to diagnose, making his comeback difficult.
The southpaw revealed that he was trying to regain form by playing domestic cricket after recovering from illness.
The aggressive opener dismissed the notion that his tweet about Babar Azam was linked to his exclusion from the team.
