BoG members congratulate Naqvi for Lahore stadium renovation

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday chaired Board of Governors meeting at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.

During the meeting members express gratitude for completing the new Gaddafi Stadium in a Record Time of 117 days.

“You have made the impossible possible. With the completion of this project, all propaganda has been dispelled. Congratulations to Mohsin Naqvi and the entire team from the Board of Governors members,” members said.

“We are also astonished. It’s hard to believe that the stadium is completed,” BoG members said.

“This is not my individual achievement,” Moshin Naqvi responded. “The success is the result of the hard work of our entire team. I am grateful to Allah that our sincere efforts have borne fruit.”

The meeting was held in the Boardroom of the National Cricket Academy.

The meeting also approved various matters of the PCB, and  decisions from the previous Board of Governors meeting were ratified.

The meeting concluded with a special prayer by Anwar Ghani. Participants in the meeting included Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer PSL Salman Naseer, Chief Financial Officer Javed Murtaza Board of Governors members Zaheer Abbas, Anwar Ghani, Daniyal Gilani, Tariq Sarwar, Sajjad Ali Khokhar, Zafar Ullah, and others.
