Babar Azam fails to score century in last 62 ODIs

Even before the Champions Trophy, Babar Azam could not achieve his form in international cricket.
In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium yesterday, the visiting New Zealand team defeated Pakistan by 78 runs and started the tri-series victoriously, but Babar Azam lost his wicket by scoring 10 runs in just 23 balls.
He once again became victim of Michael Bracewell. Before this, the Kiwi bowler has taken the wicket of Babar Azam one each in one-day international and Test format and four times in T20.
Babar Azam came to open with Fakhar Zaman, but he lost his wicket early.
His long century drought extended to 62 innings at the international level. Babar Azam scored his last century against Nepal in the Asia Cup on August 30, 2023.
