National Stadium all set for Champions Trophy

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has scheduled the official inauguration of the newly renovated National Bank Stadium on February 11, featuring musical performances, a fireworks display, and a light show.

Prominent Pakistani singers Shafqat Amanat Ali, Ali Zafar, and Sahir Ali Bagga will perform at the event.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced the ceremony, calling it a celebration of the stadium’s timely upgrade ahead of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025.

The National Bank Stadium will host three matches during the tournament, including the opening clash between Pakistan and New Zealand on February 19.

The Champions Trophy, featuring eight teams, will take place from February 19 to March 9 across Pakistan and Dubai.
