Australian cricket team arrive in Lahore to participate in Champions Trophy
The Australian cricket team has arrived in Lahore to participate in the ICC Champions Trophy.
Captain Steve Smith is among 14 people in Australia’s first squad to arrive in Lahore.
According to details, a 17-member second contingent of the Australian cricket team, including 15 players, will arrive in Lahore shortly.
On the other hand, the England cricket team will also arrive in Pakistan today to play the Champions Trophy.
The Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9.
Yesterday, the sale of additional tickets for the ICC Champions Trophy matches in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has begun today.
“Additional tickets for India’s matches and first semi-finals has gone on sale today at 12:00 PM IST,” the ICC said in a statement.
Earlier, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided to sell additional tickets due to the high demand for tickets for matches and semi-finals of other teams, including the Pakistan-India match in Dubai.
