Karachi traffic plan for ICC Champions Trophy matches
Karachi traffic police have issued a traffic plan for the three ICC Champions Trophy matches at the National Stadium on February 21 and March 1. The plan aims to facilitate the public and ensure smooth traffic flow.
Traffic Plan Details
- Sir Shah Suleman Road will remain open during the matches.
- Special parking has been arranged at the National Coaching Centre and China Ground for cricket fans.
- Vehicles from Karsaz will be directed to these parking areas via the underpass.
Heavy Traffic Routes
Heavy traffic will be allowed on the following routes:
- Sohrab Goth to Nipa
- Liaquatabad No 10 to Hassan Square
- PP Chowrangi to University Road
However, heavy vehicles will not be permitted on:
- Karsaz to the stadium
- Millennium to New Town
- Stadium Signal to Hassan Square
Public Advisory
The public is urged to cooperate with the police and use designated parking areas to avoid inconvenience. Unauthorized parking on main roads or service lanes is strictly prohibited.
