After defeat to India, Pakistan team quietly reach Islamabad from Dubai

After losing to India in the ICC Champions Trophy, the national cricket team quietly reached Islamabad from Dubai.

“Itna Sannata Kyun Hai Bhai?” is a popular dialogue from An Indian film, which is commonly used in conversation, but if this dialogue is used in the context of the national team’s flight from Dubai to Islamabad, then it will not be useless.

The national team’s plane from Dubai first reached Lahore, where PCB Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, board officials and a few others got off, then the plane took off again and this time its destination was Islamabad, where the national cricket team landed.

There was unusual silence in this journey as the players were not talking to each other.

After Sunday’s one-sided defeat against India in Dubai, everyone’s faces were withered and heads bowed.

PCB Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi had earlier travelled from Karachi to Dubai in a special plane with the  team. There was a lot of excitement, laughter and noise in that journey, but this time there was a deep silence.

The chairman also invited the players for dinner in Dubai.
