India suffer Rohit Sharma blow ahead of New Zealand clash

India on Thursday suffered captain Rohit Sharma blow ahead of their final group match against New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy.
According to Indian media, tough Rohit took part in the team’s training session but his participation in the game against the Black Caps is uncertain.
The right-hander suffered an injury blow in the crucial game against arch-rivals Pakistan. He complained of discomfort in his hamstring during the game.
During the practice session, the Indian skipper only participated in batting drills and engaged in light running, avoiding any intense physical activity.
The Indian team management and medical staff are closely monitoring Rohit’s condition. A final decision on his participation will be made after assessing his fitness before the match.
India and New Zealand are will face off on March 2 in Dubai.
It is worth mentioning here that, both teams have qualified for the semifinals of the tournament.
