Key Pakistan players to miss New Zealand tour

Following a below-par ICC Champions Trophy campaign, senior Pakistan players have decided to take a break from the international cricket.
The defending champions were the first team to get eliminated for the eight-team tournament, which is hosted by Pakistan.
However, with possible shuffle is on cards, some senior players have already decided to take a break from international cricket.
The series which will feature five T20Is and three ODI will commence from March 16 in New Zealand and will conclude on April 05.
Report revealed, some players are likely to be dropped on the basis of poor performance of the Champions Trophy, so some players may withdraw from the tour of New Zealand.
The top officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board are unhappy due to flop show in the ongoing tournament.
It should be noted that there is also an echo about the dropping of Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah and Babar Azam for the upcoming tour.
Remember that the defending champion of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and host team Pakistan’s journey in the event ended without any win.
