Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi wants to work for the betterment of cricket but he will also have to change his nine partners, said Shoaib Akhtar.
Shoaib Akhtar attended the signing ceremony of capital premier league in Islamabad as the chief guest, and signed the contract as brand ambassador of CPL.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Shoaib Akhtar said that it is beyond understanding why players are removed first and then included. Players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah would have been megastars if they had been given to me, he said.
He said that the performance of the team in the Champions Trophy was very disappointing, cricket is also being treated like hockey. He added changes in the management and the team are not giving any results.
Mohsin Naqvi has definitely improved the infrastructure but policies will also have to be changed.
Shoaib Akhtar said that Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi need to be rested.
