India clinch third Champions Trophy title with victory over New Zealand

India secured their third ICC Champions Trophy title with a commanding victory over New Zealand in the final of the Pakistan-hosted tournament on Sunday.
The match, held at Dubai International Stadium, saw India dominate with both bat and ball to claim the prestigious trophy.
Due to political tensions, India played all their matches in Dubai, opting not to travel to Pakistan. Despite this, they remained unbeaten at the venue, winning all four of their matches.
Both teams fielded strong lineups for the final.
India’s squad included Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel, KL Rahul (wicketkeeper), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, and Varun Chakaravarthy.
New Zealand’s team featured Will Young, Rachin Ravindra, Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Latham (wicketkeeper), Glenn Phillips, Michael Bracewell, Mitchell Santner (captain), Kyle Jamieson, William O’Rourke, and Nathan Smith.
India’s victory adds another major title to their record, reaffirming their dominance in international cricket.
