Lord’s Cricket Ground echoed with Azaan

London’s historic Lord’s Cricket Ground echoed with Azaan instead of claps and whistles during Ramazan.
Hundreds of people attended the open Iftar organized by the Ramadan Tent Project at the Lord’s Cricket Ground, while a large number of local non-Muslim people besides the Muslim community attended the event.
Before iftar, the participants were informed about the truth of Islam and the importance of fasting, while non-Muslims also broke the fast with dates on Azaan Maghrib.
On this occasion, Founder and CEO Ramazan Tent Project Omar Salah said that the purpose of Open Iftar is to bring different communities together.
Omar Salah said: “We are very grateful to King Charles for allowing iftar in Windsor Castle, Britain’s multicultural society is proud and we are trying to win the hearts of the people through our efforts.”
England team player Saqib Mahmood also attended the iftar, while those who attended the open iftar described the experience of breaking the fast together as excellent.

On this occasion, the participants said that participating in Iftar will remove the misconceptions of the followers of different religions.
It should be noted that under the auspices of the Ramazan Tent Project, Iftar has been organized in important places of the country for the last 13 years, while King Charles also opened the doors of his royal palace to Muslims last week.
