Pakistan depart for New Zealand T20Is

The Pakistan cricket team on Wednesday left for New Zealand to compete in a five-match T20 series starting March 16 in Christchurch.
The 16-member squad departed from Lahore via Dubai en route to New Zealand, said the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Notably, Abdul Samad and Hassan Nawaz have earned their maiden call-up to the national squad.
“Many young players have been included, and they bring a different, positive energy. We have high expectations from the newcomers, and we aim for success,” said returning all-rounder Shadab Khan, who is also vice-captain the young side.
