New Zealand outclassed Pakistan by 9 wickets in the first T20 match.
In the match played at the Hagley Oval ground in Christchurch, New Zealand easily achieved the target of 92 runs given by Pakistan in the 11th over for the loss of one wicket.
Tim Cyfert scored 44 runs for New Zealand, while Finn Allen scored 29 and Tim Robinson remained unbeaten on 18 runs. Abrar Ahmed took one wicket for Pakistan.
Earlier, the New Zealand captain won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first, but the visitors only managed to score 91 runs.
