Varun Chakravarthy reveals reason for not interested in Test cricket

Indian spinner Varun Chakravarthy has described his style as unsuitable for Test cricket.
He revealed in an interview that in Test cricket, 20 to 30 overs have to be bowled regularly and he will not be able to do that. I can bowl a maximum of 10 to 15 overs, he added.
“Although I am also interested in Test cricket, my style of bowling is not suitable for this format, I almost like medium pace,” the India bowler said.
It should be noted that he played a key role in India’s victory in the recent Champions Trophy and became the joint most successful bowler with 9 wickets in the event.
In the final of the Champions Trophy 2025, India defeated New Zealand by four wickets at the Dubai Stadium to win the title.
