Indian cricket board mulls lifting THIS BAN for IPL

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is considering lifting the ban on spitting on the ball during the Indian Premier League (IPL) season starting from March 22.
According to media reports, the proposal was widely discussed within the BCCI and will be presented to the captains of all the teams participating in the IPL during the meeting to be held in Mumbai today.
It is worth mentioning that the International Cricket Council (ICC) had initially banned the old practice of spitting to shine the ball in the match as a precautionary measure during Covid-19.
