Boxer Saweety Boora assaulting husband Deepak Hooda inside police station: Video

A shocking video has surfaced showing boxer Saweety Boora physically attacking her husband and professional Kabaddi player Deepak Niwas Hooda inside a police station in Hisar, Haryana. The incident reportedly happened on March 15, but the video started circulating widely on Tuesday.

According to media reports, Boora had filed for divorce from Hooda, accusing him of domestic abuse and dowry harassment. In the viral video, she is seen grabbing Hooda by the throat and physically assaulting him during a heated argument. Family members had to step in to separate the two as tensions escalated inside the station.

Boora stated that she had already reached out to authorities days before the incident:
“On March 11, I informed the Hisar SP that I no longer want to live with him. I don’t want a single penny from him—just a divorce and my belongings. I submitted a partial list of my belongings, but no action has been taken in over a month… I appeal to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji and our Home Minister for justice. I initially kept quiet, hoping for a peaceful resolution…”

On the other hand, Hooda shared his version, saying he was called to the police station on March 15, where the altercation took place:
“During the questioning, my wife and her father started using harsh language. They assaulted me physically in the presence of cops and I received two injuries. Her maternal uncle Satyawan also accompanied them,” he said.

Both Boora and Hooda, who got married in 2022, are Arjuna Award winners. Boora is a former world boxing champion in the middleweight category, while Hooda has made a name for himself in the Pro Kabaddi League.
