In-form Sahibzada Farhan joins of Islamabad United

Pakistan batter Sahibzada Farhan has joined Islamabad United following staller performances in the National T20 Cup.

The right-hander batter was picked in the supplementary category for the upcoming Pakistan Super League season 10.

Farhan will be the 20th player of the United squad.

Former New Zealand head coach Mike Hesson, who is the head coach of the United confirming the development on X stated: “Players like Sahibzada Farhan can become part of the playing XI at any time.”

He praised the United management for rallying behind the domestic performers, saying, “The United have always provided opportunity to the talent of the domestic cricket.”

The batter had scored 605 runs at an average of 121 in the recently concluded National T20 Cup.

Farhan expressed his gratitude to the United for including the batter in their squad. “It is an honour to play for Islamabad United,” Farhan maintained.
