Real cause of Shane Warne’s death ‘covered up’: British newspaper
The British newspaper Daily Mail has revealed that the real cause of the death of legendary Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne was hidden for the sake of honour.
The newspaper quoted a senior Thai police officer as saying that the cause of the leg-spinner’s death was not just a heart attack. The Thai police officer said on condition of anonymity that Shane Warne may have used the banned drug.
He said that a vial of banned medicine was also found in the room where Shane Warne was found dead, which the police disappeared from the room and this medicine was not mentioned anywhere in the report.
The officer told the newspaper in his claim that the order came from higher authorities to make the banned drug disappear, and the decision not to investigate it was made for the honour of the Australian player, including the intention of the Australian authorities.
A Thai police officer told the British newspaper that the women who were with Shane Warne that night were not questioned.
Shane Warne, a 52-year-old former kangaroo player, was found dead in a villa on the island of Mount Samoi in Thailand on March 4, 2022.
