PAK vs NZ 3rd ODI – Khushdil Shah fight with fan, video goes viral

Pakistan all-rounder Khushdil Shah was restrained by a security official after attempting to confront fans who had criticized the team for their poor performance against New Zealand.

The incident took place after Pakistan’s disappointing loss in the third ODI of their series against New Zealand, and a photo of the altercation quickly went viral on social media.

In the match, Pakistan was given a target of 265 runs in 42 overs, but even Babar Azam’s fifty (50 off 58 balls) could not help them as they lost by 43 runs. New Zealand’s Ben Sears was the star bowler, taking 5 wickets for 34 runs in 9 overs, leading to Pakistan losing all their wickets for 221 in 40 overs.

The result was a 3-0 clean sweep in the ODI series, in addition to the 4-1 T20I series defeat. Michael Bracewell received the Player of the Match award, despite Sears’ impressive performance; Bracewell’s contribution was 59 and his runs clinched the sweep for New Zealand.
