Why did PCB change PSL matches’ timings?

Ahead of the start of the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the board has changed the timings of the matches due to the clash with the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Pakistan Super League (PSL) CEO Salman Naseer said in the podcast that the decision to change the timings for the matches has been taken keeping in mind the conflict with the Indian Premier League (IPL), the interests of cricket fans and broadcasters.
He said that PSL matches will start at 8 pm while IPL matches are being played at 7 pm. Salman Naseer said that Pakistan Super League has made its unique reach and we hope that fans will enjoy the matches.
The PSL CEO said that the broadcasting quality for the league has been improved so that maximum appreciation can be received. Similarly, teams have signed many well-known international players who did not get a place in the PSL.
Defending champions Islamabad United will take on Lahore Qalandars in the opening match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
