PCB advertises for head coach of national cricket team

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has advertised for the post of head coach of the national cricket team.

The PCB has issued an advertisement for the head coach on its website.

It is to be noted that the PCB had appointed Aaqib Javed as the interim head coach till the Champions Trophy, then he was given more responsibilities for the tour of New Zealand.

Sources said Aaqib Javed is no longer interested for the head coach as he is interested in director high performance.

The PCB has also issued an advertisement for director high performance. The post of director high performance was vacant since Nadeem Khan resigned.

According to sources, the PCB may once again move on to the foreign head coach.

For the head coach, the qualification of level three cricket coach is required, applications have been invited for the post till May 4.

Sources said that the Pakistan Cricket Board has limited choices for the head coach and it is more inclined towards a foreign coach.

They added the PCB will not go to big names for the coach.
