India falls to Pakistan in boxing showdown

A Pakistani boxer knocked out his Indian opponent in a Pak-India boxing match in Thailand.

Pakistani boxer Shaheer Afridi defeated his traditional rival Indian boxer Taranjot Singh Bawa in a ranking fight in Thailand.
Shaheer Afridi put in a brilliant performance, defeating his Indian opponent in the fourth round.

Indian boxer Tarjot Singh Bawa was knocked down in the third round and was defeated in the fourth round, while in the fourth round, the referee stopped the Indian boxer from playing further and declared Pakistan’s Shaheer Afridi the winner.

This was Shaheer Afridi’s ranking fight in the middleweight category. Shaheer Afridi has fought 18 fights so far, winning 16, losing one, and drawing one.
On the other hand, women’s boxing competitions were also held in Thailand, where Pakistan’s Alia Soomro competed against a Thai boxer.

Alia Soomro won by knocking out the Thai boxer in the first round.
