PCB Chairman Announces Mike Hesson as Pakistan’s New White-Ball Head Coach

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially appointed Mike Hesson, former New Zealand coach, as the new White-ball Head Coach of the Pakistan national cricket team.
According to the announcement, Mike Hesson will assume his coaching responsibilities on May 26, 2025.
His first assignment with the Pakistan team will be the upcoming series against Bangladesh.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi expressed his best wishes for Hesson, stating:
“Under Mike Hesson’s coaching, the future of our national team in white-ball formats will be bright.”
The appointment marks a major step as Pakistan looks to strengthen its performance in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and T20 Internationals under experienced international leadership.
