PSL 10 Final: Gladiators win toss, field first against Qalandars

The stage is set for the grand finale of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 as Quetta Gladiators, led by Saud Shakeel, won the toss and chose to field first against Shaheen Shah Afridi’s Lahore Qalandars at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The PSL 2025 champion will walk away with a $500,000 prize, while the runner-up will receive $200,000. This final offers Lahore Qalandars a chance to become the second team to win three PSL titles, while Quetta Gladiators look to lift their first trophy since 2019.

Journey to the Final:

• Lahore Qalandars finished fourth in the league stage but peaked in the playoffs, eliminating Karachi Kings and Islamabad United to reach their third final in four years.

• Quetta Gladiators topped the table with 7 wins, 2 losses, and 1 no result. They defeated Islamabad United by 30 runs in the qualifier to reach the final.

National Tribute:

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will host a special tribute to the Pakistan Navy during the innings break, continuing the theme of honoring the country’s armed forces. Tributes were previously given to the Pakistan Army and Air Force for their role in Operation Bunayn-um-Marsoos amid recent tensions with India.
