Pakistan beats Bangladesh in first T20I

Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 37 runs in the first match of the 3-match T20 series.

In the match played in Lahore, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first.

Pakistan, batting first, scored 201 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

For Pakistan, captain Salman Agha scored 56, Shadab 48 and Hassan Nawaz 44 runs.

Apart from them, Muhammad Haris was out for 31 runs and Khushdil Shah for 5 runs, Faheem Ashraf was not out for 11 runs and Hassan Ali was out for 1 run. Saim Ayub was out for 0 runs and Fakhar Zaman was out for 1 run.

Chasing a target of 202 runs, the visiting team was bowled out for 164 runs in the last over.

Bangladesh captain Liton Das scored 48, Zakir Ali scored 36 and Tanzeed Hossain scored 31 runs.

For Pakistan, Hasan Ali took 5 wickets and Shadab Khan took 2 wickets. Faheem Ashraf, Khushdil Shah and Salman Agha took one wicket each.

Pakistan has a one-nil lead in the three-match series.
