In the first match of the T20 series played in Lauderdale, Florida, USA, Pakistan set a target of 179 runs for West Indies to win. West Indies managed to score 164 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Saim Ayub was the top scorer with 57 runs, followed by Fakhar Zaman with 28, Hasan Nawaz with 24, and Faheem Ashraf with 16 runs.
