West Indies beat Pakistan by five wickets in rain-hit ODI
The West Indies defeated Pakistan by five wickets on Sunday, with Roston Chase and Justin Greaves leading the way to level the one-day series. The match in Tarouba was shortened due to rain delays.
Chase scored 49 runs, while Greaves stayed unbeaten with 26, hitting an exciting mix of fours and sixes. Earlier, West Indies had a shaky start, but Sherfane Rutherford turned things around with a quick 45 runs off just 33 balls.
Chase secured the win by hitting a delivery from Hasan Ali through the covers for four, celebrating the moment with a fist pump.
“I’m happy with the win. We had to come in and level the series, so very pleased,” said Chase, who was named man of the match.
The deciding third ODI will be played at the same venue on Tuesday.
