Michael Clarke Warns Fans After Skin Cancer Diagnosis
Sydney: Former Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke, who has been battling skin cancer, has shared an important message with his fans.
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Clarke revealed that he has developed another cut on his nose due to the illness. He highlighted that skin cancer is a serious reality in Australia and urged people to take precautions.
“My friendly advice is to keep getting your skin checked regularly. Prevention is always better than cure,” Clarke wrote in his message to fans.
The cricketer explained that in his case, regular check-ups and early diagnosis have been vital in managing the disease.
Clarke had first shown signs of skin cancer a few years ago but did not immediately disclose his condition to the public.
Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, making early detection and regular medical examinations especially important.
