Pakistan Sets New Record with Fifth Win in Commonwealth Beach Handball Championship
Malé: Pakistan’s handball team continued its remarkable run in the Commonwealth Beach Handball Championship, registering a fifth consecutive victory and securing a place in the semifinals.
In their final league match, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh 2-0 with a dominant performance. The team won the first round 30-9 and sealed the second 32-13, completely outclassing their opponents.
With this win, Pakistan finished the league stage unbeaten, having earlier overcome India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and South Africa.
Earlier in the tournament, Pakistan had outpowered South Africa 2-0, winning 24-15 and 28-5. Kashif Ali, who scored 18 points in that match, was named Man of the Match.
