Pakistan-India Asia Cup Final: Misconduct, Bringing Banned Items to Lead to Imprisonment, Fines
Dubai Police has issued an advisory for spectators ahead of the Asia Cup cricket final between Pakistan and India.
The Events Security Committee, responsible for managing Dubai International Cricket Stadium, confirmed that all security arrangements for the final match have been completed.
Organizers urged fans to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship during the game and strictly follow all rules and regulations, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the UAE’s civilized image and Dubai’s reputation as a host of world-class sporting events.
Dubai Police stated that all special units are prepared to handle any situation, and any violation of stadium security will be dealt with firmly.
Fans have been asked not to engage in any activity that could threaten public safety, disrupt stadium order, or promote hatred or racism.
Authorities also advised spectators to check the list of prohibited items and comply with instructions. Bringing banned items or misbehaving could result in fines from 5,000 to 30,000 AED and up to three months imprisonment.
Additionally, spectators have been instructed to cooperate with police and private security, verify tickets, use only designated gates, arrive three hours before the match, and note that each valid ticket allows only a single entry.
