Hong Kong Sixes 2025 Returns – Schedule, Teams & Streaming Details

08 October, 2025 17:54

Cricket fans are excited as the Hong Kong Sixes 2025 returns from November 7 to 9 at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground. Known for its fast-paced and thrilling format, the tournament will offer three days of non-stop entertainment, featuring top international stars and young talents from around the world.

Last year, Pakistan reached the final but lost to Sri Lanka, the defending champions. This year’s edition will include 12 international teams, divided into four pools:

  • Pool A: South Africa, Afghanistan, Nepal

  • Pool B: Australia, England, UAE

  • Pool C: India, Pakistan, Kuwait

  • Pool D: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, China

Sri Lanka will aim to defend their title, while cricket giants England and South Africa, both five-time champions, will try to add another trophy to their record.

The Hong Kong Sixes has been a part of cricket history since 1992, featuring legends like Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Sanath Jayasuriya, and Shane Warne. The event’s unique format — five overs per side, with the final featuring eight-ball overs — makes every match fast, exciting, and full of boundaries.

Each team includes just six players, ensuring attacking cricket and quick game changes.

Cricket Hong Kong has teamed up with Sony Sports Network as the official broadcast partner. Matches will be shown live on Sony Sports channels and SonyLIV, with extra coverage on the Cricket Hong Kong YouTube channel.

With top teams, short matches, and thrilling rivalries — especially the India vs Pakistan clash on the opening day — the Hong Kong Sixes 2025 promises a weekend full of high-energy cricket and unforgettable moments.
