Shahid Afridi Visits Flood Victims in Swabi
Former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Khan Afridi issued a powerful message on social media, expressing disappointment over Afghanistan’s recent actions. His remarks came amid rising tensions on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
Afridi reminded everyone that Pakistan has always stood with its Afghan brothers during tough times. He said Pakistan treated Afghan problems as its own and offered shelter to millions of Afghan refugees.
The former captain highlighted that Pakistan welcomed nearly 4 million Afghan refugees, giving them land, safety, and opportunities. He said this generosity should have been remembered with gratitude.
Shahid Afridi strongly criticised Afghanistan’s recent actions at the border. He stated that despite Pakistan’s support, Afghanistan responded with open aggression, which cannot be ignored.
He praised Pakistan’s armed forces for giving a firm reply to Afghan hostility. According to Afridi, Pakistan cannot allow any disrespect or attack on its sovereignty.
Afridi urged Afghanistan to reconsider its behavior. He reminded them that Pakistan is a brother Islamic nation, and disputes should be resolved with respect, not aggression.
