Pakistan’s young cricketers now have a clear roadmap for the U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026 after the ICC officially announced the tournament schedule. The event will begin on 15 January and continue until 6 February, with matches taking place across five venues in Zimbabwe and Namibia.
Pakistan has been placed in Group B, along with tournament hosts Zimbabwe, former champions England, and Scotland. All of Pakistan’s group-stage matches will be held at the Takashinga Sports Club in Harare.
The Green Shirts will start their campaign on 16 January against England, followed by their second match against Scotland on 19 January, and a key fixture against Zimbabwe on 22 January.

The format of the tournament remains unchanged. The top three teams from each group will qualify for the Super Six stage, scheduled from 25 January to 1 February. The semi-finals will be held on 3 and 4 February in Bulawayo and Harare, while the final is set for 6 February at the Harare Sports Club.
Pakistan enters the event with a strong youth cricket heritage. The national U19 team has won the World Cup twice (in 2004 and 2006) and finished as runners-up three times, proving itself as one of the strongest sides in junior cricket.
