ICC T20 World Cup Tickets Go on Sale Today; Pakistan Captain Missing from Poster
The online sale of tickets for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is starting today. Ticket sales will officially open at 6:15 pm (Pakistan time).
In the first phase, the ICC plans to release more than 2 million tickets for fans around the world.
However, a new controversy has started after the ICC released its ticket announcement poster. The poster shows the captains of India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Australia, and England — but does not include Pakistan’s captain Salman Ali Agha.
This has raised concerns among fans, who believe the International Cricket Council’s bias is becoming more visible. Reports suggest that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) continues to have strong influence over ICC decisions.
The T20 World Cup 2026 will be hosted by India and Sri Lanka from 7 February to 8 March.
The opening match of the tournament will be played between Pakistan and the Netherlands on 7 February in Colombo.
