Pakistan U19 Squad Announced for Tri-Series and ICC U19 World Cup
Lahore, December 18, 2025 – Pakistan U19 captain Farhan Yousaf will lead the team in the upcoming tri-series in Zimbabwe and the ICC U19 World Cup. The 15-member squad has been officially announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The tri-series will feature Pakistan, Afghanistan, and hosts Zimbabwe. It is scheduled from 25 December to 6 January and will be played in the 50-over format. This series will help Pakistan U19 prepare for the ICC U19 World Cup in Namibia and Zimbabwe, taking place from 15 January to 6 February.
Currently, Pakistan U19 are playing in the ACC U19 Asia Cup in Dubai. They will face Bangladesh in the semi-final on 19 December. The final of the eight-team tournament is set for 21 December in Dubai.
The only change to the squad from the Asia Cup is the inclusion of right-arm fast bowler Umar Zaib, replacing left-arm spinner Mohammad Huzaifa.
Pakistan U19 are expected to play at least four matches in the tri-series, with the top two teams qualifying for the final on 6 January.
