Wasim Akram Appointed as PSL Brand Ambassador

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, has announced that the PCB administration will directly manage all operational and administrative matters related to Multan Sultans in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11.

He stated, “The selection process of the Multan Sultans management will also be completed under the supervision of the PCB to ensure that league affairs proceed in a transparent and organized manner.”

According to Naqvi, the auction process for Multan Sultans will also be finalized before the next season, which will formalize all franchise-related matters. He emphasized the importance of timely decisions, saying, “To further strengthen the PSL, prompt decisions are essential, and the PCB is fulfilling its responsibilities in this regard.”

On this occasion, the PCB Chairman also announced, “Former national captain Wasim Akram has been appointed as the brand ambassador of the Pakistan Super League.”

Naqvi added that Wasim Akram will play an active role for the PSL and will also be present during the two-team auction scheduled for January 8. He further noted, “With Wasim Akram’s inclusion, the PSL’s global recognition will be further strengthened.”
