Pakistan win toss, choose to bowl first against Sri Lanka

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first against Sri Lanka in the opening match of the three-match T20I series. The match is being played at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium on Wednesday.

Both teams have announced their playing XIs for the match.

Pakistan Playing XI

Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Salman Ali Agha (captain), Fakhar Zaman, Usman Khan (wicketkeeper), Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Salman Mirza, and Abrar Ahmed.

Sri Lanka Playing XI

Pathum Nissanka, Kamil Mishara, Kusal Mendis (wicketkeeper), Dhananjaya de Silva, Charith Asalanka, Dasun Shanaka (captain), Janith Liyanage, Wanindu Hasaranga, Dushmantha Chameera, Maheesh Theekshana, and Nuwan Thushara.

The remaining two matches of the series will also be played at the same venue.
