BCB Submits Security Evidence to ICC, Questions India Tour

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has presented the ICC with concrete evidence regarding security concerns in India.
According to Bangladeshi media, the board’s legal advisor sent an extensive submission to the ICC; notably, this figure does not include supplementary TV reports, YouTube videos, or newspaper clippings.
The objective of providing this evidence is to demonstrate that Bangladeshi cricketers may be at risk on Indian soil. The legal advisor questioned the feasibility of the tour, stating that if a single player is unsafe, the security of the entire squad cannot be guaranteed. The ICC had previously requested specific details regarding these concerns from the BCB.
It should be noted that the BCB has maintained its position that the team will not tour India for the T20 World Cup due to these risks. The board asserts that this move is necessary to protect the safety of players and stakeholders while ensuring a fair playing environment.
